Refund Policy

How Truce Works

Truce provides a structured, AI-assisted dispute resolution process:

• Filing and responding are free. Either party can open a case or respond to one at no cost.
• Unlocking proposals costs $79. Once both parties have submitted their sides, one party pays $79 to unlock the AI-generated resolution proposals. These proposals are based on both parties' accounts of the dispute.
• Two rounds of proposals. If the first round of proposals does not result in mutual acceptance, a second round is generated automatically at no additional charge.

When You Receive a Full Refund

If both rounds of proposals are completed and neither party accepts a proposal, you receive a full refund of $79, automatically. No request needed. The refund is issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

When Refunds Do Not Apply

• Accepted proposals. If either party accepts a proposal from either round, the $79 fee is non-refundable. A resolution was reached and the service was rendered.
• Case abandonment. If a case stalls because one or both parties stop participating (e.g., the responding party never submits their side), the $79 fee is non-refundable. The payment unlocked the proposal generation process, which was made available.
• Voluntary withdrawal. If the paying party withdraws from the process after proposals have been generated, no refund is issued.

How Refunds Are Processed

Eligible refunds are issued automatically — you do not need to contact us. The refund goes to the card or payment method used at checkout. Processing time is typically 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

Questions or Disputes About a Charge

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or did not receive a refund you're entitled to, email us at hello@hiretruce.com with your case reference number. We'll review and respond within 2 business days.
